The resultant 12-person volunteer Board of Directors is committed to the development of curling to its full potential in Hamilton and its surrounding area.
HACA’s Aim
- To represent members on matters of common interest and to provide a forum for information sharing among members.
- To provide a continuing high level of awareness of the sport of curling as encouragement to non-curlers to pursue the game as a recreation of choice.
- To coordinate and administer, on behalf of its members for the good of the curling community, such programs as may be designed by national and provincial curling organizations.
- To support the aims and objectives of the Canadian Curling Association and to liaise with the Ontario Curling Federation and Ontario Curling Association on behalf of its members with regard to programs, policy and competitions.
HACA offers itself as a resource for curling information and activity of interest to curlers, prospective curlers, media and all who wish to relate to the sport of curling.
Curling continues to offer Fun, Fitness and Friendship for all ages.
